Hepatitis C virus has overtaken the AIDS virus, HIV, as a cause of death in the United States. About 3 million people in the United States have been diagnosed with hepatitis C, but more than half with the disease are undiagnosed, according to new research. Some advocate screening all baby boomers for the virus.
